Dr. John Cory, Founder of Soccer Doctors

Dr. Cory’s interest in soccer has grown and flourished throughout the years and volunteers at the Barca Academy USA as the supervising physician, while also working with high-level soccer clubs in developmental academies here in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area. Dr. Cory has been appointed one of the two US soccer physicians in Phoenix over the last five years and has been the on-field surgeon for eight international soccer games including the Gold Cup and Copa America Centenario, as well as covering local US soccer training events and coaching seminars.

Through his love and dedication to soccer and his passion within the medical field, Dr. Cory believes that his purpose has come full circle as he uses his knowledge and expertise to guide young athletes in not only recovering from an injury, but in the prevention of injury through optimized movement and athleticism. He created Soccer Doctors AZ as an easy answer for finding high quality, local in-network providers for immediate care of all your soccer-related issues.

Dr. Hill is a Sports Medicine physician that specializes in the care of athletes of all ages.  Dr. Hill grew up in Powder Springs, Georgia and graduated from McEachern High School. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated from the Honor’s Program. While at the University of Georgia he played football for one year. Dr. Hill completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. During his third year of medical school, he played Arena League Football for the Augusta Spartans. He subsequently completed his Family Medicine residency at The Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. During his final year at The Mayo Clinic he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Hill completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at the prestigious Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. During his fellowship year, he served as a team physician for Samford University and a local high school. He also assisted in coverage of the Washington Redskins, Birmingham Barons, Auburn University, University of Alabama, Mercedes Marathon, Alabama Ballet, and Regions Tradition Senior PGA golf tournament. After completing his Sports Medicine fellowship, Dr. Hill moved back to Arizona and became a partner at the Arizona Sports Medicine Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. While there he served as a team physician for the Arizona Cardinals for nine years, the Arizona Diamondbacks for six years and the Phoenix Suns for one year. He served as a team consultant for multiple MLB Spring Training teams and the Arizona Coyotes. He was the Arizona Medical Director for the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2015, 2017, and 2019 and for the FIFA Copa America Centenario in 2016. He was nominated as a “Phoenix Top Doc” by his peers 4 years in a row from 2017-2020.Dr. Hill was excited to have the opportunity to move back home to Atlanta and joined the Emory Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team in 2020. He is a team physician for the Atlanta Falcons and will work primarily out of the Flowery Branch clinic connected to the Falcons Training Facility.

Graham Gould, PT, DPT, CDNP

Graham specializes in Physical Therapy and is currently working in Casa Grande, Arizona. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from St. Joseph’s College.  He went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University in 2006. He has a passion for Sports Medicine and enjoys working with all types of athletes.

Mason Robbins, Global Director of Technology, Data, and Business Innovation

Mason Robbins is the Director of Technology, Data, and Business Innovation for Soccer Doctors. He has studied and lived in six different countries and can speak several languages. He has an extensive background in business development and is most interested in the business side of sports. Mason has a passion for travelling and creating relationships all over the globe. He has visited over 72 countries and plans to continue seeing the world while doing what he loves.

Amanda Swanson, Global Director of Media and Digital Innovation

Amanda Swanson graduated from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University. She has an extensive background in Media, Marketing and Public Relations. She has worked with people from many different backgrounds and professions. Building relationships is something that she enjoys most about her career. Amanda is passionate about helping others turn their visions into a reality.
